Dear Author, I am a doctor in Peru. I came across your site while browsing the net for children's stories. I was really amazed to see such a talented young author illustrator from such a tiny South Indian country like Siri Lanka. we know that there is an ongoing never ending civil war in the country.
Among all that I see you are talented in many other fields as well. And above all your books and illustrations are in the international standards. It's a pity that your books are not available in many languages. I saw few German, Romanian and Hebrew translations in some other sites on the net. Your illustrations are remarkable. I looked into almost all of your books. They are excellent though I didn't understand the language I could get an idea of the stories by the picture language. Best of luck.! (And you are very charming too. like a flower)..

Dear Janaki, I am really amazed to see your wonderful talents. These stories are so wonderful, not only my kids, I too really enjoy reading them. They take me to my own childhood. The essence of your stories is so great that it takes the readers to a very sweet innocent world. And it helps understand different aspects of Sri Lankan rural life through your stories. I read that you have not only written stories but also do all the illustrations and web designing and is simply unimaginable that one person is so talented in so many areas and yet so modest good hearted to allow people to read them for free. I am sure your parents are very proud of you. You are areally a gift of god. Congratulations to your parents, grand parents and all those who helped you to achieve all this. May god protect you.

Dear Sister, We saw you on TV recently. You are very very beautiful with a very rare charm. And your voice is amazingly sweet and it goes very well with your sweet look. Amazing creativity of god, I suppose. Both my son and daughter madly loves you. You are like a goddess to them. They were gaping at the television and they still remember every word you said. They won't go to bed without reading at least 10 or 20 books. Some times it becomes a pain to me to read so many books every night. Anyway thank you so much for writing all these lovely books and making our kids so happy. Without your books, I wonder what would I have to say when they ask me to tell a story.
